The main characteristic of vegetable tanning is that the leather is not
covered with a layer of synthetic paint, so the entire natural structure
of the leather remains visible, which takes on an identity and acquires
beauty, ages but maintains its vintage charm.
The tanning process is done in water which contains tannins - natural
dyes, coming from the bark of different plants or flowers. The skin is
placed inside the barrels containing the tannins, which rotate.

La caratteristica principale della concia al vegetale è che la pelle non
viene coperta con uno strato di verniciatura sintetica, quindi rimane a
vista tutta la struttura naturale della pelle, che assume identità ed
acquista bellezza, invecchia ma mantiene il suo fascino vintage.
Il processo di conciatura si fa nell'acqua che contiene i tannini -
coloranti naturali, provenienti dalla corteccia di diverse piante o
fiori. La pelle viene messa all interno delle in botte contenenti i
tannini, che stanno in movimento di rotazione.
