KO-120 120/2.1 (GOZ/ZOMZ) is a simplified projection lens for 35 mm film. Made according to a rather simple aplanatic scheme of two gluings. It has a unique pattern straight from the 19th century.
Optical design: Asymmetric four-lens semi-glued aplanat.
Peculiarities:
- quite high resolution with f/2.1 - approximately at the level of Jupiter-11
- curved field - the zone of sharpness is arcuate;
- twisted bokeh (the degree of twist depends on the distance to the background);
-very light with a large aperture ratio -300g
- from the newer KO-120M, it differs by a smaller aperture ratio (2.1 vs. 1.8), a smaller frame diameter (52.5 vs. 62.5), a third less weight and a different enlightenment (slightly yellow), a more even field and smaller HA;
-Easily placed on SLR cameras, incl. and on NIKON;
-covers a full frame;
