New in 2023: The BR 101 in the “Our Prices” design from DB AG in Epoch VI. When implementing the 101 series on a scale of 1:160, PIKO perfectly tailored the external design of the three-phase locomotive. Details such as the DSA 350 single-arm pantographs were delicately reproduced. The sharply engraved bogies behind the low aprons round off the visual impression of the locomotive perfectly. A powerful mid-engine provides propulsion in the model. Two brass flywheels on the motor shaft ensure excellent synchronization. For good traction, the locomotive also has two diagonally arranged wheels covered with traction tires. In addition to the headlights using LED technology, the model also has driver's cab lighting. In the sound version, the BR 101 has a matching PIKO sound decoder ex works.
