KATO Perma-Coil Kits are universally accepted method of repairing stripped threads in all types of materials (aluminum, magnesium, steel, even plastic). Use Perma-Coil Kits to bring damaged/stripped threads back to their original size, and stronger than new. Once a damaged thread is repaired with a Perma-Coil kit thread wear, corrosion and galling will be virtually eliminated resulting in a stronger assembly.
