Trapunto is Italian word for 'To Quilt' It is a method of quilting which involves using an extra layer of batting basted under the design area before the quilt top is layered and the design appears as 'stuffed work' and the result is an embossed design onto your quilt. Trapunto is a technique that can be used in traditional or modern quilting. These templates can be used to make quilted embossed cards, or for your quilting designs.
