Originally available to buy new from around the early 1950s

The dial cord is intact, as is the back panel.

When connected to power, the dial lamps illuminate but there is no sound, not even a crackle when operating any of the controls.Tube heaters appear to glow.

The cabinet is in sound condition with no previous insect damage, but as can be seen I think, much of the finish is no longer present.

The badge / logo located just below the speaker grill is damaged. The speaker grill cloth is slightly torn and is fragile.
