Perkins Vertical Hit & Miss Engine with low tension igniter 

This attractive engine is unusual in being vertical, air cooled with a partly open crank case. The ignition is by low tension igniter, the inlet valve is automatic and the exhaust valve is controlled by exposed flyball governors.
