Product Description Musher's Secret Paw Protector Wax was created in Canada for sled dogs (hence the name "mushers"!). It became recognised worldwide in the 1990s and has remained a firm favourite of dog lovers since due to the safe, 100% natural food-grade waxes that effectively soothe and condition dog paws. Mushers Secret dog paw balm moisturises and conditions and relieves dry and cracked pads. It forms a breathable barrier that protects in winter from ice and snow as well as salt or chemicals, in summer from hot pavements, sand and sandburn and year-round from rough terrain or external irritants. It's THE alternative to dog socks when your dog just won't agree to wearing or walking in those! It can also be used on other animals such as cats, horses, chickens! Safe for use on paws, snout, ears, elbows, “hot spots”. While the exact composition of Musher's Secret Paw Protector Wax remains a secret, it is a blend of 100% pure natural waxes including White and Yellow Beeswax, Carnauba and Candelilla Wax with added Vitamin E. The waxes are all food-grade and are not cause for concern if your pet licks their paws after application. For year-round use, simply apply a thin layer 2-3 times a week and gently rub in - your pet will love their pamper time! The balm will absorb in a few moments, and once absorbed Musher's will not come off on floors, carpeting or clothing. If you do have this issue you are applying too much, so try and cut down by applying thinner layers less frequently. In extreme cold or hot conditions, additional applications may be necessary.
