From the Edward Marshall Boehm “Roses of Excellence” plate collection, this listing is for “The Love Rose,” the first issue in a limited annual plate collection honoring award-winning American roses.

Bone Porcelain China, white plate, gold outside border, second interior gold patterned border, green leaves, green stems, 3 roses that are primarily red with touches of pale pink on the back side of the petals.

The “Boehm” name appears on the plate. The original box is included.

This plate was designed by The Boehm Studios in America, and hand-crafted of fine English bone China. “The Love Rose” appears in a graceful trio, surrounded by Boehm’s special gold border design. The three roses are a beautiful, bold red in color with green leaves that are so detailed you can nearly feel the texture in them.

Limited by Year of Issue - 1981.

The plate measures approximately 10½ inches in diameter and is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. No marks or imperfections. Box has shelf wear and marks (see photos).

This item is being stored in a smoke-free home.
