LISTING ITEM: 1973 Cadillac Speedometer Assembly (66K)
DATE OF MANUFACTURE: FEBRUARY 1973
COMPATIBLE YEARS & MODELS: 1971-73 Only, All models.
ITEM CONDITION: Very Good Condition. Mechanically the following items are tested & working: 1) Speedometer Needle #2) Odometer Reset Knob - moves the numbers as it should - slightly sticky (spray it clean from backside). There is no Lighting Track Film on the back (had a flaw at left end) - simply transfer your existing one (just lays on and is held by the light bulb twist retainers). No cracks in the housing. Speedometer face is clean, not rusty. Nice silk-screening (the letters/numbers) that has survived time well. There are some residue spots (mainly right side) apparently on the inside of the clear lens, they show up under bright fluorescent light (my photos) much more than in outdoor light. Removed from a 1973 Coupe Deville that had 66K original miles.
This should be a fine replacement for your non-working Speedometer.
