Unplug the washer before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.Disconnect the power source and water source from your washing machine before beginning any repair.
To complete this multi-step repair, you’ll need a putty knife, a wood plank, a piece of duct tape, a Philips screwdriver, and lithium grease.
Be very careful of the grease used on the pivot points. It is very difficult to remove.
Make sure you use lithium grease where they mount at the top and bottom to avoid future wear and squeaks.
The replacement process takes about 20 ~ 30 minutes. (Its really pretty easy to do - youtube it)
