This 1965 serigraph by Isabel Bernal is in mint condition and rarely available for sale. It was never used, has no folds, tears or age spots. It was made as a promotional poster for "El Reto," a film about a boy with an intellectual disability. Made by Puerto Rico's Department of Education, the film is meant to inform parents about issues concerning the health and well-being of their children and their right to social services. 
       Bernal's name is not on the silkscreen.
 
BIOGRAPHY:  A painter and graphic artist, Isabel Bernal was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico in 1935.
     This silkscreen is part of art collections at the University of Puerto Rico and the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.
