The Stelutis Choir was founded in Bologna in 1947 by Maestro Giorgio Vacchi, choir director, composer and researcher who was its director until his death in January 2008. The repertoire draws from popular and folklore singing from the tradition of Emilia-Romagna and northern Italy, with numerous harmonizations by maestro Vacchi himself.
