It converts high-speed LTE FDD or TDD signals to Wi-Fi signals on the local area network. Wireless and wired devices, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and other smart devices, can access the UE simultaneously. 3GPP Release 10 provides additional frequency bands to this UE, and it supports VoIP.
