To this day, this concert remains one of the best I’ve ever been to.
Our seats were for the ninth row but as he took the stage, we all rushed it. We spent the next 2 hours pinned up against the stage, unable to move, with all the objects you’d expect flying over our heads - gladiolas, Oscar Wilde’s poetry books, women’s underwear, articles of clothing, doc martens, etc. And of course, the shirtless men launching themselves from the crowd onto the stage. By the time the concert was over and the crowd dispersed, all of the metal folding floor seats were crushed.
The best way to describe it was pleasurable pandemonium. That was a Morrissey concert in the early 90s.
Stub is in very good condition.
