ANTIQUE BLUE AND WHITE STONEWARE BUTTERFLY BUTTER CROCK. Ready to add to your growing collection of quality stoneware is this wonderful Blue and White Butter Crock in the Butterfly Pattern. This beauty features an Orange Peel Background that Hosts 4 Butterflies Around the Middle. Diffused coloration with a bit more white around the middle and blue at the edge. Strong mold lines. Would've had an old bail handle. Measures 4 1/2" tall and 5 3/4" wide. Has a tight short hair on the inside but it doesn't show on the outside and there's no hit mark where any damage wouldve occured. There are other kiln made cracks on the inside too. Also has a few flakes of color missing around the edge but no real damage. Guaranteed old and original. Pictures show size and condition. Displays well.
