The Spirit award is the highest honor that a Disneyland Cast Member can receive in regards to performance and upholding the values, traditions, and expectations for a Disneyland Cast Member. It is the counterpart to Walt Disney World's Partners In Excellence Program, though that differs as those pins are not denoted by year, or have they changed since the program's inception. There are three tiers in the Spirit Award program (as opposed to the Partner's In Excellence two), Bronze at the lowest level, silver as the next step, and Gold serves as the highest award. Measures 1/3" square.

Per a member of Disneyland Management, Peers nominate cast members for the award based on 3 areas of performance: operations excellence, guest service, or cast excellence. For people who are nominated in two of these three areas, the silver award is considered. All nominations go through a review process, so someone who was nominated in two areas might just end up with bronze if one area was not really that strong. From Bronze or Silver, the cast's leader may further bump them up to Golden based on their enhanced and expanded review of the peer comments. The back of these pins are stamped 1/10 10K for Bronze versions, 1/5 10K for Silver versions, and 10K for Gold versions.

I do my best to take pictures of the actual item you are purchasing, and most pins will include this unless otherwise specified! I try to ensure that you as a customer are well informed before you buy.  Please note that some backing cards of new pins may show wear from storage as pictured.  As well, minor defects in the enamel that are part of the manufacturing process can be expected and are sometimes not mentioned specifically.  Pins listed as "used" can have minor flaws, superficial nicks or dimples.  Please see pictures of each pin prior to purchase and feel free to ask about specifics at any time by contacting me. 

Payment

Payment is expected within 48 hours of purchase, unless there are extenuating circumstances, in which case contact me!  I accept only Paypal and ship only to confirmed Paypal addresses for the safety of myself and the buyer.

If paying by Paypal e-check, please note that I will only ship the item once I have confirmation that the e-check has cleared.  This could delay shipment of your item by up to 5 days.

Shipping

Please contact me if you have any concerns about shipping.  I offer a variety of Canada Post services, and these costs are calculated according to you location.  Please keep in mind that Canada Post rates are often high when compared to similar shipping services provided by USPS - I have no control over those rates unfortunately.  Border tariffs, taxes, or customs fees may apply for international shipments and are the responsibility of the buyer.

I use high quality shipping material, and take pains to ensure your item arrives safe and sound by packing items with care.  Because of this, I ship my items quickly, but reserve the right to take up to 5 business days to ship.  I would rather your item arrive to you intact and safe than save a little time by cutting corners.

Returns

I accept returns within 7 days of item arrival ONLY if a tracked shipping method is used both ways.  Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.  New, sealed items will only be accepted for return in sealed condition.  Please contact me if an item is not to your liking, and most times we can resolve an issue to your satisfaction.
