This belonged to my Dad who was in the Navy in World War II. Written in 1957, this appears to be a first edition! But I am not an expert…see photos of those first pages to verify! The inside pages are in even better condition than they appear in photos due to shadows in pictures. The cover and cover pages do have some wear as seen in photos, but the page binding seems well intact.
