The RC-600 is a LOOP STATION capable of delivering sophisticated performances with precise setup. Sound quality is the best in its class with 32-bit AD/DA and 32-bit floating-point processing. Six phrase tracks allow you to change the recording/playback method to suit your performance style. The six phrase tracks can be customized to record and playback according to your performance style, starting recording when you press the switch, or automatically when a pre-defined level of input is present. For playback, all tracks can be played back simultaneously or switched as the song develops. High-quality effects are available on INPUT and TRACK. Effects automatically synchronize with the tempo of looped phrases and built-in rhythms, adding dynamic movement to phrases. Nine footswitches provide control of advanced functions, and the RC-600's high-quality sound quality and superior customizability ensure the pinnacle of looping performance.

Customize to your ideal LOOP STATION

The RC-600's high degree of customizability greatly expands the possibilities of the six tracks and nine footswitches that provide a high degree of performance flexibility. For example, Mode 1 controls track selection and recording, Mode 2 controls undo/redo, mark back, half speed, rhythm, etc., and Mode 3 can be assigned to multiple effects and tap tempo, allowing you to switch modes according to your performance. The tempo is automatically synchronized with the tempo of the track, eliminating the need for complex settings. Up to four effects can be used simultaneously on the INPUT FX and TRACK FX. Flexible Input/Output System

The RC-600 has the most flexible input/output system in history. The RC-600 offers 16 drum kits and over 200 rhythm patterns. The drum kits cover a wide range from realistic STUDIO and LIVE to electric DANCE and TECHNO. Rhythm patterns can also be selected from a wide variety of genres such as rock, blues, jazz, soul, funk, etc. The rhythm patterns can be used not only as a guide for recording, but also for adding fill-ins and changing the timing of bar changes to create a more expressive performance. If you wish to use your own original rhythm patterns, you can save SMF rhythm data to the unit via a dedicated Windows/Mac compatible application. A lively groove customized with your favorite drum kits and rhythm patterns will support your performance.

Convenient functions to enhance your performance

Based on requests received from users of the BOSS Loop Station series, a number of useful new features have been added to give a new twist to loop performance and smooth operation. The Mark Back function allows users to mark the recording or overdubbing status of a phrase, allowing them to instantly return to that performance state and redo the recording, or to accentuate their performance by undoing/redoing the marked phrase. Three overdub modes allow for smooth sound replacement. You can erase or play back previously recorded sounds while overwriting them with new phrases. The Bounce In feature allows you to combine multiple tracks into one, allowing you to express all of your ideas. The playback speed can also be switched to double or 1/2 speed. You can also choose to change the pitch or maintain the pitch depending on the tempo speed for tricky productions. The auto-record function can be assigned ON/OFF to the buttons and pedals on the main unit, allowing you to change the recording method on the spot to suit your performance.
