Intuitive Shifting At Your Fingertips. Thanks to its natural fit, the electronic Deore XT gear selector from the M8250 series feels familiar right out of the box. But also on the technical side, the wireless shift lever with Rapid ES technology benefits from Shimano's cross-generational experience in the development of mechanical shifting systems. The result is tactile feedback with every gear change and a rich clicking sensation that prevents shifting errors.

For maximum versatility and precision, users can choose from several shifting modes, including Hold-Down-Multi-Shift and Click-Through Double-Shift. In addition, a third button, programmable via the E-Tube Project app, allows additional system settings or connection to third-party providers. The package is rounded off by the short-stroke paddles themselves, which are not only adjustable in several axes, but also each feature a rubber pad with a comfortable grip for perfect ergonomics

Shimano Deore XT RD-M8250 Rear Derailleur Di2 Shadow ES 12-speed-long (SGS)

Tried And True Meets All New. Technologically, the Deore XT rear derailleur of the M8250 series is in no way inferior to its XTR counterpart. The only difference is the aluminum cage, which is no less resistant. Thanks to the as well used Shadow ES construction, also the XT model features a slim, wedge-shaped low profile design. And also the stabilizer fits seamlessly into the housing of the electronic Di2 rear derailleur, so that there are no edges that could come into contact with obstacles on the trail. The result is a significantly reduced risk of stone strikes or hits.

If an impact does occur, the rear derailleur not only absorbs it, but is immediately returned to its original position with the help of the automatic recovery function. Furthermore, the innovative chain stabilization technology with its double spring design ensures higher chain tension and correspondingly better chain retention. To extend the service life, the wide, cleverly arranged linkage in combination with the robust derailleur pulleys minimize the risk of dirt ingress. No less well protected is the battery (not included), which is located inside the rear derailleur housing and cannot slip even in rough terrain, but can still be easily removed when the next charge is due
