Slaughterhouse-Five is a rollicking, non-linear account of Billy Pilgrim's life through Space and Time out of mind.

Sometimes depicting his capture and incarceration by the Germans during the last years of World War II the narrative connects episodes from Billy's life both before and after the war, not to mention his travels to the planet Tralfamadore (Trawl-fahm-uh-door).
