In the 1850's Georg Kreuzberg discovered a mineral well in Ahrweiler, Germany. He bottled the water in pottery bottles from Baumbach, and he labelled them "Apollinaris Brunnen/Georg Kreuzberg Ahrweiler Rheinpreussen." For sale here is one such bottle. It measures about 11 1/2" tall and about 4" wide, and it is quite heavy for its size. It has a loop handle. No cork or seal. Look closely at the photos as they perhaps can better describe this bottle than I can using words. Good condition with some blue paint and a few pottery stretch cracks. Perfect for display!!
I have liquidated estates for over 40 years. I have been using eBay for the past few years to help liquidate items, many of which come from assisted living communities where estate sales cannot be held out of concern for the security for the other residents. I strive to be accurate in my listing descriptions. If you have a question or concern about any item, please contact me BEFORE making an offer. Payment is appreciated and expected within 24 hours of purchase. I will usually ship out the item the following day using USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Home Delivery. The postage shown in my listing is ONLY AN ESTIMATE. The actual amount may be higher or lower depending on the location of the buyer. Please wait for an invoice before making payment, if possible. The invoice should correctly reflect the amount of postage to your zip code. Also, upon receiving your item in the mail, you have TWO DAYS to report any damage which occurred during transit. I DO NOT SELL INTERNATIONALLY. If you are an individual or company that re-ships items to other parts of the world, my liability for damage will end once the package arrives at the United States address you provide. Also sales tax will be collected by eBay when required by individual states.
