G2 FOUR"/"G2X FOUR" is a guitar effects and amp emulator with over 100 built-in amp/effect models and the ability to use up to 6 (+1 pedal effect) simultaneously in any connection order. It comes standard with 22 amp models employing the newly developed multi-layer IR and 79 guitar effects including modeling of famous boutique pedals, plus 50 more to be distributed online via the "Handy Guitar Lab for G2 FOUR" app for iOS and Android*. More than 50 effects can be added from the Handy Guitar Lab for G2 FOUR app for iOS and Android*, which will be available online. Equipped with looper, rhythm machine, and tuner functions, a headphone jack, and an AUX IN jack for music player input, the G2 FOUR can be used for everything from daily practice to live stage performances.

Newly developed "Multi-layer-IR" technology dynamically blends three IRs according to the intensity of picking.

Conventional IR typically uses a single impulse response to capture the characteristics of a speaker cabinet. ZOOM's newly developed "Multi-layer-IR" technology uses three impulse responses captured at different volumes (LOUD / MEDIUM / SOFT), and the three IRs are dynamically blended according to the guitar's volume and picking intensity, responding just like a real cabinet. The three IRs are dynamically blended according to the volume of the guitar and the intensity of the picking, creating a faithful and organic sound of a different dimension.

All-new UI designed to be manual-less

The UI has been completely redesigned with the aim of going manual-free, with foot-operated cursor-type switches, a highly visible LCD screen, and graphical icon display reminiscent of the actual device from which the modeling was taken.
