This is a good used Austin Healey sprite/ MG midget rib case transmission gearbox front cover plate. OEM part number 22G118. Fits all sprite and midget 1100 and 1275 rib case transmissions. This is different from the Morris front covers which exit the opposite side of the bell housing. It is also different from the 948 smooth case transmission front covers. Moss does not list this item, only the ones with the rubber oil seals. This has the original scroll type oil design. This front plate is in excellent condition, with no warps, cracks or breaks, The keyway for the layshaft is also in excellent condition.
