This is a roughly 35 year-old, 5-issue lot of Classic X-Men, which included reprints of Uncanny X-Men starting with the new X-Men's first appearance in Giant-Size #1, picking up with issue 94 of the regular series (both of which are part of this lot).
But these issues don't just include reprints -- they contain original material that Chris Claremont retroactively fit into the main stories, with the new content either woven into and between the original pages or as secondary stories.
The series was advertised as "The stories you remember -- The moments you missed."
By then, the prices to collect the back issues of the X-Men were so cost-prohibitive, that Marvel decided they would just re-publish them with extra material so that people could have a chance to read the early stories (which were exceptional for the most part, and indeed were "classic").
So if you missed all that and don't want to pay the still-exhorbitant prices, here's your chance!
The actual issues included are:
Classic X-Men #1-2 (both with those great Art Adams covers, and both of which still look just about new, perhaps w/ a bit of faded white on that first one) and a very rugged, well-read copy of #5
Uncanny X-Men #218 (also very rugged and low-grade)
Uncanny X-Men Annual 13 from 1989 -- a previously-read copy, but notable is that it was printed without all the pages. There doesn't seem to be anything torn out, but it's clear there's something missing in the end.
It's best to simply consider this just a listing for the first two reprinted issues of the New X-Men (Giant-Size #1 and regular issue #94) -- the others I just threw in for the ride and were simply the last couple of extra X-Men related titles I had laying around. I did not pay any attention to their presence when I settled on a price for this lot.
Look at my feedback and you'll see "item as described" posted over and over again! I cannot believe other sellers expect you to make a purchase decision with just one or two photos -- ridiculous -- you always see what you're getting from me!
