This is a beautiful handmade batiste Eastern Isles pillowcase. This was made circa 1940's in the Phillipines and is a nice vintage collectible. Pillowcase is 12 inches wide and 18 inches long. The craftmanship on this piece is gorgeous - dainty cutwork and fine embroidery on batiste cotton. The stitches in the hem of the sheet are very tiny and neat. This pillowcase has a condition issue, there is a big rip down the front.  I think it could be repaired but this piece may be best used as a cutter piece. -The fabric is so soft and sheer - they do not make quality linens like this anymore. Very nice item for that vintage collector.
