Free The Tone TA-2H TRI AVATAR

TRI AVATAR is a next-generation chorus pedal with a total of four signal paths: three systems (three phases) of chorus sound and a dry signal. When used in stereo, the chorus sound is assigned to the L side for the first phase, L+R for the second phase, and R for the third phase. When used in mono, all three phases are mixed together, creating a chorus sound with breadth and depth beyond that of a typical stereo chorus by mixing and outputting three individual chorus sounds. In addition, conventional chorus has several problems such as pitch deviation, blurred sound image in the low frequency range, and noise generation at the timing of shaking. Free The Tone has solved these problems by combining analog and digital technologies and using its unique know-how to create a completely new chorus pedal.

The TA-1H had only 4 presets, but the new TA-2H has 128 presets, a significant increase. The TA-2H is also equipped with the same AD/DA converter used in the FLIGHT TIME (digital delay), allowing you to enjoy a warmer mid-low range sound. We hope you will experience the potential of the TA-2H to produce a wide variety of sounds that transcend the conventional concept of chorus pedals.

Features

■The number of presets that can store settings has been greatly increased to 128. (Only presets 1 to 4 can be recalled by the main unit alone; all presets 1 to 128 can be recalled by using the MIDI controller.)

■Changed chorus sound quality control from HI-CUT control to TONE control. Turning the control to the right cuts the low frequency range, and turning it to the left cuts the high frequency range. A wider range of sound creation is now possible.

■In the TA-1H, the DRY MIX was set from 100% WET to 50% DRY and 50% WET, but in the TA-2H, the DRY MIX is now set from 0% to 100%. This allows even finer adjustment of the chorus sound.

■The TA-2H has three independent signal paths that can be individually modulated (pitch shaking) and a dry signal path that can be mixed as an analog signal.

■Each of the three modulation signal paths is staggered by 120 degrees to achieve a unique three-phase chorus spread.

■Both stereo and monaural versions are supported. When used in mono, all three modulation signal paths are mixed, enabling a wide variety of sound creation.

■The use of a 24-bit AD/DA converter and Free The Tone's proprietary signal processing and algorithms have created a next-generation chorus sound with minimal noise generation.

■An expression pedal can be connected to the EXP jack to control RATE or TONE in real time.
