  • The MFC-J4535DW INKvestment Tank from Brother is a compact multifunction printer with print, scan, copy, and fax functions. It features a 1200 x 600 dpi maximum print resolution and supports up to 8.5 x 14" legal-size paper. It also supports photo paper and lets you print up to 8 x 10" borderless photos.

    This INKvestment Tank model features Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity, with the Wi-Fi interface supporting NFC (wireless Near Field Communication printing). The built-in Wi-Fi also allows wireless print commands from the Brother Mobile Connect app or via the Mopria, AirPrint, and Wi-Fi Direct services. The Ethernet port allows a hardwired connection to a network, and the USB port lets you connect directly to your computer. There's also a USB-A port on the front of the printer for printing from flash drives.

    The MFC-J4535DW has two paper trays that hold a combined 400 sheets of paper. The trays are adjustable to hold letter- or legal-size paper. The printer reaches average prints speeds of 20 ppm and supports automatic two-sided printing. A 20-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) also supports up to legal-size paper for scanning and copying.

    The included starter ink cartridges last about one year if your print volume is about 150 pages or less a month.
