I have been given different professional opinions.  The opinions have ranged from early18th century to early 19th century.  It is difficult.

The item has been rubbed, and was good luck for the owner at one time....a long time ago.  It is Chinese turquoise.

Part of small antique pieces I purchased in the mid 1980s in China.

The piece measures approx. 2-3/16" long, 1-1/8" wide, and 7/8" deep.
