This is a lovely French Antique Cauterets Cure/Medicen glass.

This is from the Pyrenees region in France and is in perfect condition, it even has the small wicker carry case holder with it.

Cauterets is a spa town in France and is well know for its thermal springs, the presence of sulphur and silicate of soda in the springs are used in the treatment of diseases of the respiratory organs and many other ailments.

These glasses would have been sold in the town to hopeful people looking for a cure.
