Mark Braver is an Israeli artist, born in Latvia - 1958. As a young art student, like many Latvian artists of his generation, he was forced to quit his art studies in order to serve in the Communist Army. His Jewish origin drove him to Zionist activities, which led to him being imprisoned for five years in Soviet prison. During his rough imprisonment he decided that after his release, he would commit his life to creating art. Due to his love for the Zionist homeland, he immigrated to Israel in 2000 and devoted his life to the making of art. His works are characterized by bold colors and unique textures. His paintings come to life on the canvas with a multitude of colors, textures, and original techniques.


This Original Serigraph is a limited edition numbered 259/490. The Serigraph is in pristine condition and has the sticker on the back where it was originally purchased in New York. You may not have a COA. But you have a place to start to find the answers you would need to get one. The frame and matte are in excellent like new condition!
