Real wood shims, this is a saddle/nut assortment half thick and half thin, shims are approx. 2 7/8"-3" long, 1/4" to 3/8" wide and from 1/42"- 1/8" thick. We've seen cardboard, plastic, even cut up credit cards used as neck and saddle shims on beautiful vintage guitars! Stop using garbage for shims. Commercial shims are very expensive. We offer reasonably priced real wood shims of all types, see our other auctions for neck, saddle and nut shims. We have various assorted dark and light woods available.

This auction is for 10  thick & thin 1/42"-1/8" real wood saddle bridge shims (the guitar saddle in the photo is not included). For each single auction purchase the buyer will receive 10 saddle shims. These are cut thin wood saddle or nut shims made of various natural woods. Each order will vary grain and shade is according to what is in stock at the time. They are approx. 2 7/8" long by 1/4" to 3/8" wide and about 1/42"-1/8" thick. They are intended for under saddle, or nut action adjustments. They are thin, rough cut and not perfectly square or equal. Some vary in width, some are dark wood, some are light wood, grain may vary. The photo is just for reference and shows  lighter wood shims. These are all much better than using cardboard, plastic or other foreign materials to raise the saddle. We find them very useful for adjusting action and the saddle height. Perfect for your repair or setup project. If you need thinner shims, neck shims, or nut shims, please see our other auctions.

***** The guitar saddle in the picture is for reference and not included.

***** We have limited variety due to supply chain issues. Your shim assortments may only be one or two types of different woods.
