| DESCRIPTION: | This 5 Piece 10” Airway Buffing Wheel Variety Pack comes with one non-woven satin surface prep buffing wheel, one blue buffing wheel, one yellow buffing wheel, one untreated white buffing wheel, and one white domet flannel polishing wheel. This variety pack provides the ability to prep, cut, color, and polishing to a mirror finish. The satin receives its name because of the satin-like finish it is able to achieve without the aid of other buffs or use of compound. These maroon satin airway buffs are designed with 4 ply, flexible, non-woven, nylon mesh fibers impregnated with abrasive grains making them ideal for prepping metal for next step buffing, restoring diamond plate or creating brush finished metals. The blue buffing wheel is the firmest, which allows the operator to cut and remove scratches, blemishes and tool marks. The yellow airway buff is approximately 15% less firm than the blue airway buff and offers a superior buff for coloring; the next step in the polishing process. The white untreated buffing wheel is soft 86/80 cotton. The untreated white airway buff will allow the user to cut, color or polish up to a show finish depending on the compound used. Finally, the white domet flannel polishing wheel is untreated and made of super soft material. The white domet airway buff will allow the user to polish up to a show finish. Each airway buff in this kit is Made in USA with premium materials. They all feature 16 ply flaps for superior life and longevity. Additionally, they all have a 3” center plate which when applied causes pleats in the buffing wheel flaps. These pleats allow airflow during use and keep the buff and the work piece cool. |
