A stunning play of contrasts
An original ring with bright Czech minerals will definitely not go unnoticed. Its main highlight is a large green oval moldavite measuring 7x5 mm. This cut is a kind of round shape, but with much more brilliance and scintillation. With precise proportions, the stone perfectly refracts light and sparkles in the sun. The oval shape is great for rings as it visually lengthens and thinns the fingers. A vivid contrast with moldavite is created by a scattering of twelve garnets. 925 sterling silver was chosen as the frame. This metal has a white platinum luster and is reliably protected from environmental influences thanks to the rhodium plating. The weight of the ring is 3 grams, but it can be more if you order an individual size. In our store you can purchase earrings and a pendant of the Camellia series as a set for a ring.
The legend of the camellia
Camellia is closest to bright minerals of all colors. This flower, as if made of wax, is very beautiful, but has no smell at all. The bright green camellia leaves and red petals best reflect the beauty of moldavite and pomegranate. Many legends are associated with the flower. One of them tells about the son of Aphrodite - Cupid. This handsome young man could fall in love with any goddess and earthly woman, so he quickly got fed up with their attention. In search of love, he flew to Saturn, where he met beautiful virgins. They sat on the shore of a frozen lake and thanked God for creating them from ice, so earthly passions are alien to the virgins. Cupid shot his arrows at them, but they remained indifferent to him. Upon learning of this, an angry Aphrodite turned them into camellias and sent them to Earth, deciding that the virgins were not worthy of being women.
