Buzzweld U.P. Underbody preservation is a borosilicate glass re-enforced underbody clear lacquer with exceptional anti-corrosive properties..

PLEASE READ "WHAT HAS CHANGED" as ZERO Prep is now significantly different to v1.

Benefits of Zero Prep

  • LASTS! - Customer have seen nearly 5 years longevity. (we recommend you do a checkup every 12 months)
  • DRY! - we cannot overstate this enough. Zero Prep DRIES, which means dirt and muck that hold moisture and salt don't stick to it! this is key to making it super easy to maintin, and last.
  • EASY! - entering winter its nearly impossible to get your vehicle dry underneath. for Zero Prep that's not an issue! Just use Splash Dewewatering agent beforehand!
  • ACTIVE! - Zero prep contains Vapour Corrosion Inhibitors. These active anti corrosives actually assist expelling moisture.
  • NANO TECH! - using mono molecular films the VCI provides a limited self healing ability in low air movement areas even where it is not  even applied!
  • ANYWHERE! - Zero Prep doesn't damage rubbers, and helps limit corrosion in electrical joints. Its healthy across the board for the underside of your vehicle.

Zero Prep can also be used as a sealing coat for existing treatments, and will go over most other coatings (test patch first).

WHAT HAS CHANGED WITH ZERO PREP v2?

  • We have removed the dewatering agent, so please use SPLASH
  • We have made Zerp Prep UV tolerant, so it now stays clear instead of yellowing. This also makes it last longer
  • We have Made Zero prep a higher grade finish,
  • We have reduced Zero Preps ability to cope with extreme levels of existing corrosion. We feel for that peiople should use Chassis Guard Pro, and Zero prep be reserved for preserving Classic cars, and new vehicles, and improving their overall protection. It will still work on corrosion, but wont be as good on delam etc.
  • We have removed all references to "UP" Underbody Preservation. This may come back as a dedicated heavy rust penetrating lacquer at some point as its own product.
