Nicholas Sparks - Message in a Bottle - Warner Books, 1998 - 1st Edition / 1st Printing - Complete number line, starting with "1", present on copyright page as required in order to denote the first printing of the first edition.

This example with light spotting to the edges of the block but otherwise a bright, clean and as new copy. The dust jacket has faint shelf wear but is otherwise as new with no visible flaws. A beautiful and nearly pristine copy of this important Sparks title. Message was the author's second novel and, in our experiences, has always been the hardest to obtain signed. This book served as the basis for the phenomenally successful 1999 adaptation (Sparks' first) of the same name which starred Kevin Costner, Robin Wright, Paul Newman and a list of other notables. This copy is boldly signed and inscribed on the half title page with the author's typical flourish and dated in the year of publication.
