Use this Celestron Padded Soft Telescope Bag to carry your 8" SCT or EdgeHD optical tube to and from your observation site. It is made of strong, durable, and weather-resistant 900D polyester with a soft lining and 16mm thick EPE foam that protects your delicate gear. You can open the bag from the end or along its side to access the 17 x 10.75 x 10.75" interior, depending on your preference. A hidden exterior pocket is ideal for stowing accessories like finders, eyepieces, diagonals, and visual backs. The pocket and openings all have sturdy nylon zippers with large pulls. For your carrying convenience, there are two soft sewn-in handles or a removable padded shoulder strap. While intended for their SCT and EdgeHD OTAs, the bag will accommodate more OTAs that measure up to 18" in length.
