Continuing in 2014 Daugavpils Rothko Art Centre initiated Latvian contemporary art exhibition cycle, this year the audience has an opportunity to get to know Latvian contemporary ceramics. In addition, the choice for the benefit of ceramics as a medium of art this year is likely to be logical - 2015 Daugavpils ceramists association marks 35 years since its foundation, as well as Latvian contemporary ceramic exhibition is a kind of sequel insight Latvian ceramic art development, which Rothko center this year were given wide Kipsalas ceramic exhibition outlining contemporary ceramic creation process. Latvian contemporary ceramic exhibition aims to modernize the ceramics as a contemporary art medium importance and place in the Latvian contemporary art and cultural space, so participation in the exhibition were invited famous Latvian artist who, together representing various ceramics generation, made progress not only in Latvian, but also the world's best-known Latvian ceramics.
