Bell Trading Post Copper and Turquoise Corinthian Cuff Bracelet
Each unique, one of a kind piece of Bell Trading Post jewelry was handmade by Native Americans for the Bell Trading Company, in a studio setting, from the 1950s to the 1970s along the famous Route 66 Highway in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
The turquoise was stabilized, creating a sturdier substance for fashioning this unique jewelry. Molten copper was used to create bezels around each stone and over the front surface creating an ancient hammered look, the finished jewelry was more rustic, with a darkened surface, reminiscent of ancient Greece.
