Haviland Fantaisie Schleiger 716a

Set of 5 cups and 5 Saucers (Limoges, France) in the Fantaisie Pattern. The pattern features a wide band of flowers and foliage of a variety of colors interspersed with decorative medallions. It also has gold trim and a gold inner ring. The mark on the bottom includes 'Haviland France' and 'Decorated by Haviland & Co. Limoges'. According to our reference books, this mark dates the bowl to the late 1890s or early 1900s.  This is in very good, used condition, particularly considering its age. It has no chips, cracks, stains or crazing, and the colors of the pattern are bright and vivid. The only signs of use are minor, like light utensil marks on the surface and light wear to the gold trim and accents.
