"PORTRAIT OF JAMES PEALE" (c1789) by Charles Willson Peale

Up for sale is a watercolor image from a vintage book, 1986. The image measures 7.25 x 6" inches on a 13 x 11" inches thick paper page.  This would look fabulous if you framed it to match your decor. Example my dining room is burgundy & gold. There may be image and/or text on the back.

FYI: "Charles Willson Peale (April 15, 1741 – February 22, 1827) was an American painter, soldier, scientist, inventor, politician and naturalist. He is best remembered for his portrait paintings of leading figures of the American Revolution, and for establishing one of the first museums in the United States."
