Steering stem nut castellated socket for the following listed Honda motorcycles with steering stem nuts with four or eight notches corresponding to OEM part # 07916-3710101 and fitting upper nut part #90302425830. Condition is new.

This is the service tool you will need to service your steering bearings on many Honda motorcycles, but please check that this is the part you require before buying.

Requires a 30mm socket which is the same size required for the top nut. To undo, bend out the upper facing tab washer tabs, undo the top nut using this tool, remove the tab washer then undo the lower nut using this tool. To refit, reverse this operation using a torque wrench on the tool to torque up the lower nut (to no more than 40Nm initially to settle the bearings then slacken off and retighten to generally 15-18Nm), fit the tab washer then finger tighten the top nut and finally tighten the top nut using the tool so that the upper tabs align with the next available notch in the top nut. The top nut does not need to be torqued up, just aligned with the upper tab washer tabs which should then be bent upwards into the nut notch. In all cases please check the recommended torque settings for your model, the above is just a general guide.

This tool is 3D printed in a high strength polymer and has been tested to above 90Nm. Max torque setting for the above service operation is 40 Nm.
