The leather is heavy duty top grade but also with a soft touch. There is a zipper that runs long the side of the pants until it reaches the snaps at the bottom that has a flap that hides the zipper. The chaps help you ride comfortably by providing the biker with grip while protecting from sweat and stirrup leather. They feature mesh lining, and the overall look and feel will make you realize that you can be stylish while still feeling comfy.
