Mando is a main character in the Disney+ Star Wars series: The Mandalorian.  Orphaned as a child, he was raised in the Mandalorian tradition and eventually became a bounty hunter.  On a mission to capture a 50-year old alien, he instead decides to rescue and protect "The Asset" commonly referred to as Baby Yoda.
