The Product

These racks are handmade of exclusively original goods from the Champagne, made of massive french oak.

Riddling racks like these (from which this racksize is made of) stood decades in the cellars of various and partly of the biggest champagne houses (as for example Moet and Chandon, Pommery, Veuve Cliquot) all around Reims and Epernay in the Marne Valley, the heart of the Champagne. They distinguish themselves by their robustness and are almost indestructible. Therefore, also particularly well suitably in gastronomy areas.

The Manufacturer

The company "Leban" is one of the oldest manufacturer of riddling racks which still delivers to the biggest champagne houses. Meanwhile Leban is worldwide the one and only producer of original riddling racks.

The Use

Just mount the rack with the included wall holder and fill it with your wine or champagne bottles. If you do not like the rack hanging vertically in front of the wall you can also mount it only with the upper part and leave it leaned in a position you like with a gap below between rack and wall. So you have 2 really sinple ways to mount the rack.

The massive oak wood is a graceful and unique decoration in every wine cellar and every living room.

The Tint

These riddling racks are untreated. The wood shows a warm and not too bright color. This very special tint which you see on the photos is the result of some weeks storage outside in the sun (of corse roofed). The UV of the sun causes the nice warm and natural tint. (If the racks get storaged only in close rooms, the wood color is very bright.)

The Care

I offer these goods with a little surcharge also by high-quality hand glaze refined. An additional periodic treatment (e.g., with wax or oil) is not necessarily necessary, but recommendable "to conserve" the tint of the champagne riddling rack for many years.
