Description: Original manuscript. Printed in blue and red on one side of heavy white stock, accomplished by hand, this receipt shows that Nels Kellerup bought from Fiske Mining Company some 8,000 pounds of mine tailings, valuing the silver at 86 to 87 cents per ounce. Dated April 12, 1892. Signed by Nels Kellerup. 11.25 x 5.50. Very Good.

Nels Kellerup was one of the smelters that purchased ore from the mines in the Central City district of Colorado.
