Description

A stunning British glass paperweight sculpture of a dolphin. The colour appears black, but when held up to the light it is actually a very dark purple, see final picture. Made by Langham Glass, no manufacturing mark to base, but does still bear the original factory label. Based on the range of animals + plants originally designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson and Paul Miller for Wedgwood in the 1970's. Langham was set up by Paul Miller in 1979 after he left Wedgwood, where production of many of these animal designs continued, and many new designs were added.
