You are buying an original, gorgeous, set of genuine Porsche 935 K3 wheels. These wheels came off The "John Fitzpatrick" 935 K3, one of two genuine 935s our customer used to own and he is clearing his garage. These rims are absolutely huge and roughly 11 x 16s for the front, and 16 x 19s for the rear. As the 19" tires have become almost impossible to find, we are including 2 original, used 80s Good Year Eagle tires of the size 27.5 x 14.5 x 19 for car/wheel display purposes only - these tires are too old to be raced!!!  These wheels are the real thing! This was the third/forth set of wheels of the 935-K3 shown in the photo in blue and white "Sachs" livery. These wheels are huge and awesome, either for display or even for your replica 935. The huge rear rims 15" wide by 19" only weigh 22 pounds each due to the ultra light magnesium centers and thin outer halves, they have a total width of 15 3/4 inches, roughly 8 3/4" inners with 7" outers.  The very large front rims 11" wide x 16" have roughly 3 1/2" outers and 8" inner halves and fully assembled weigh in at only 18 pounds. Both rear wheel centers are of the later, strengthened style without the inner small lip of the honeycomb, while one of the front wheels is earlier with the small inner lip for the magnesium honeycomb centers. These wheels have been in storage for a good 20 years.

We went through great measures to refinish the centers as correctly as possible. We tried "Grimm-Speed-Gold" which has silver flakes and is way too light - more correct for later BBS wheels, we tried Cadillac 54-5143L Byzantine Gold Metallic, we mixed some custom paints that were posted and none matched an original center we still had, the "gold" was not "gold" or "true" enough due to the silver metallic flakes. The hue and flop were different than the original gold flakes - but our expert was able to reformulate the color until it became an almost perfect match as compared to the original center we had on hand. BBS used gold mica instead of silver flakes and we were finally able to match the look very closely. The wheels were assembled with NOS (New Old Stock) new seal rings and bolts from BBS.

Please note that we were careful not to over-clean the rim halves - the John Fitzpatrick sticker, the Fitzpatrick markings and rain-tire rim markings and all were retained. Please look at all photos closely.
