Nothing says Christmas like "a picture print by Currier and Ives".  Their lithographs capture the spirit of wintery days of yesteryear.  Sledding, skating or riding over the snow in a one horse open sleigh.  Our patterns for building this set comes on 11" x 17" pages packed with photos, drawings and text in step by step instructions for building everything in the photos.  The sleigh is patterned after a Swedish museum piece.  The horse is similar to a classic trotting horse in a lithograph by Currier and Ives.  Options in the plan including adding ornamental metal work along the sleigh's runners, blankets on the benches, a snow effect on a display base and includes a custom plaque or a plaque where the woodworkers name can be added.  Recommended for intermediate to advanced woodworkers.  A holiday display in wood to place on the table with cookies and egg nog or on the mantel surrounded with garland and colored lights.  Options include jingle bells around the horse, a white, snow like, base, laminate a Currier and Ives print on the horse.
