This is for an original ticket from the September 13 2008 game between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Seattle Mariners which was held at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The Angels would defeat the Mariners 5-2, but the big news would come from K-Rod, Francisco Rodriguez, recording his 58^th save of the year breaking the record of 57 set by Bobby Thigpen in 1990. Rodriguez would go on to record 62 saves for the season, but on this night, he would become baseballs new record holder. With the way teams are handling pitchers in todays games, it looks like K-Rods record will be unsurpassed for some time to come.
